Audio and text
Speech recognition runs on your Mac. Microphone audio and the resulting text are never sent anywhere.
History
The app can keep your last 100 dictations, on this Mac only. You can turn history off and clear it in Settings.
Network
Internet access is needed once — to download the recognition model you choose from a public repository. That server sees standard request data (your IP address). The app does not go online otherwise.
Permissions
Microphone — to hear you. Accessibility — to type text where your cursor is. Permissions are used for nothing else.
